That’s a tough question. You need to follow your doctor’s restrictions 24/7. I mean, the restrictions that they give you for work apply at home, too. So if you’ve been told, “Don’t lift more than 50 pounds,” don’t lift more than 50 pounds at home, because there have been cases where the insurance company has gotten surveillance on some of our clients that were exceeding their work restrictions at home. So you need to follow what your doctor is recommending 24/7, and you need to look for work if your employer is not able to accommodate your work restrictions. And the job search has to be earnest. There has to be detail. You have to keep a lot that says who you talked to when, where, what was the wage discussed, and what follow-up you did.
