If you’re the trustee of a trust you have the same duties and fiduciary responsibilities to others as if you were the executor of the estate. Unless you want to study the law long enough to learn what those fiduciary duties are, the best way to get that education is to hire a lawyer who will listen to what you have and what you have to do and tailor the presentation to you. You don’t have to spend three years in law school and 20 years of experience to hone in on the one thing that you have to know without fear of missing something.
