The thing to keep in mind in collisions with commercial trucks is the fact that the size of the vehicles and the forces involved are so unequal. Like in boxing you would never see a heavyweight fighter put in the ring with a lightweight fighter, they want to keep the forces involved and the size of the people involved equal. That same idea carries over. There’s no way to avoid having the big rigs and the commercial trucks on the roadway along with normal vehicles but the reality is that we see serious, serious injuries to people that are in the vehicles when there is a collision with a commercial truck.
