Well, I think that concussions are threatening pro sports in a number of ways. One, and most importantly, is that the ramifications of concussion goes all the way down to the very youngest youth levels, and mothers and fathers throughout the land are sort of looking at what’s going on in professional sports, what’s going on with the athletes after they retire and wondering if that’s a risk worth taking.
Certainly, we think that that requires professional sports to address the situation in a very common sense fashion, from diagnosing better to treating better to taking care of the players who played when it wasn’t done so well. And you know, that could go a long way to persuading the average citizens that this is something that can be played in a safe way. Whether it can or not, I think it can if concussions are diagnosed and treated in a proper way, but right now there’s a lot of skepticism among the general public for good reason.
