Well, one of the key ingredients is credibility in a sex crime. Most of the time – oddly enough, most of the time there isn’t forensic evidence. And so it comes down to her word against his word, or in one case that I had, her word against his word. And so it’s really important to investigate the case. It’s really important to get all the facts you can because if this person is lying about your client and you’re not prepared, your client is ill served. So, it’s very important to do a full background study on the complaining witness. Talk to – do interviews of everybody around her. Get school records, get counseling records, and really put the credibility of that person to the test.
