The company has a right to know basically, what happened. What engine or what equipment you were injured on so they can repair the condition if it is. But as far as going into detail, most of the time an injured person does not realize what all his or her injuries are. They don’t realize exactly what happened if they’re just been hurt. And so if you give a statement you may leave things out that you just don’t know yet that you haven’t had a chance to gather the information that’s why giving a statement is not required. Filling out basic information or providing basic information is required.
