I believe you need a lawyer if you’re injured on a railroad because railroad law is adversary law. The railroad has trained claim agents, trained lawyers who go into action immediately after an accident, start to investigate the case, and preserve their case. Which in their job is to minimize or prevent recovery of people that are adverse to them, which are the people that are injured.
