A spinal cord injury involves everything from the base of your skull to your tailbone. Your spinal cord is the neurotransmitter of everything we do with our hands and with our extremities. And the unique feature of spinal cord injuries is that that tissue does not regenerate, and once it has been damaged it is damaged forever. And having the appropriate physicians to testify as to what the deficits are going to be and having a fundamental knowledge of why spinal cord injuries are going to impact somebody forever into their future, and then analyzing those losses is important and why it’s important to have counsel who understands those injuries involved.
