We have been involved in dangerous drugs from day one. Some of the earlier cases were the breast implant cases, which we were involved very early on. The thing about the drug manufacturers is that there’s this huge rush to get the product out to market, and to circumvent the safety rules in order to do so. That’s the thing that is the most challenging part of the pharmaceutical area, is not only proving the cause and effect relationship, but looking at how the manufacturer tried to circumvent the FDA, circumvent the warnings, didn’t do sufficient testing.
We see serious injuries and issues with respect to pharmaceutical cases in all types of people, from the elderly to young children. Unfortunately, it’s an area that has a significant amount of litigation, because there’s a significant amount of abuse.
Los Angeles, CA complex litigation attorney Raymond Boucher talks about what happens when pharmaceutical companies circumvent certain procedures. He explains that since our inception, we have been deeply involved in cases concerning dangerous drugs. One of our early involvements was in the breast implant cases, where we played a pivotal role. The pharmaceutical industry is often driven by a rush to bring products to market, sometimes at the expense of bypassing safety regulations. This aspect presents the most challenging aspect in the realm of pharmaceutical litigation. Our task not only involves establishing the cause and effect relationship between the drug and the injuries suffered but also scrutinizing how the manufacturer attempted to sidestep FDA regulations, disregarded warnings, and conducted inadequate testing.
Regrettably, we witness serious injuries and issues arising from pharmaceutical cases affecting individuals across all age groups, from the elderly to young children. Unfortunately, this industry is plagued by a significant amount of litigation due to the prevalence of abuses and shortcomings.
