My practice is both litigation and transactional and the transactional experience having negotiated deals, have been at closing tables gives me an advantage when I’m in a litigation involving that because I know what the people were thinking and feeling when they did the deal. And when I’m questioning them, I can be very much on point. And the litigation practice helps me in the transaction side because I’ve seen the types of arguments lawyers can make over what this language means. And it makes me very aware of writing clear unambiguous language and I’d rather than be redundant than leave it ambiguous.
