So, for me, my philosophy that guides my practice is to work hard. When I started at this firm, I was mentored by Mike and Ricardo, and they both know the power of hard work, and it’s the best asset that we have. And for our clients, it is the way to promote recovery in their entire process.
The most rewarding aspect of our practice is being able to give the clients closure. People that are coming to us, as well as many other law firms, are in a very, very challenging situation. And when you’re dealing with an insurance claim, your entire life is upended, particularly if you’re dealing with health insurance or if you have a home fire. So, we are able to assist them throughout the process, ultimately trying to get closure. When we are able to get them that closure the joy on their face is unlike anything else you can ask for.
Before I started the practice of law, I was born and raised about 30 minutes outside of Seattle, and I was a basketball player. That was my pride and joy. I did everything associated with basketball, and I had no one in my family that had any type of legal practice. And I think that what I learned from the basketball aspect of my life goes back to hard work. I was not naturally gifted, but throughout all of the years, I was able to practice and spend a lot of time working on that craft and ultimately being able to get myself through college with a basketball scholarship. And for me, that has transitioned into time management and hard work in the practice of law.
