You know as silly as it sounds my mom has said that I was going to be a lawyer from the time I was a little kid. I was always arguing and negotiating over dinners when I was a kid and time in the sandbox she would tell me that I would negotiate for her. So I think I’ve always been in some regard meant to be a lawyer or wanted to be a lawyer. I’m very fortunate that I love what I do for a living. I love representing clients. There’s nothing more satisfying than getting to the end of a case where at the very beginning the insurance company or whoever it was, the adverse party was not offering fair compensation or flat out just denying a claim. Getting to the end of that claim, again, whether a settlement or while by jury and being able to get my client something that they deserve that will help make their life better and help compensate them for the things that they’ve been through s a result of the wreck.

Marietta, GA personal injury attorney Michael R. Braun talks about his passion for what he does and how he has always wanted to be a lawyer. He explains that it might sound silly, but my journey towards becoming a lawyer was seemingly destined from an early age, as my mom used to predict. Even as a little kid, I found myself immersed in arguments and negotiations, even during dinner conversations or playtime in the sandbox. My mom would often recount how I would negotiate on her behalf. Looking back, it feels like I was naturally inclined towards the legal profession or perhaps always harbored a desire to pursue it. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have found a career that I genuinely love. Representing clients is where my passion lies.
There’s an indescribable satisfaction that comes from reaching the end of a case, especially when, in the beginning, the insurance company or the opposing party refused to offer fair compensation or outright denied the claim. Whether through a settlement or a jury verdict, being able to secure something deserving for my client is immensely gratifying. It not only helps improve their quality of life but also serves as a form of compensation for the challenges they have endured as a result of the accident.
To me, there’s nothing more fulfilling than knowing that I have played a part in making my clients’ lives better, providing them with the support and recompense they rightfully deserve. It’s a privilege to be able to advocate for them and help navigate the complexities of their cases. Seeing justice served and witnessing the positive impact it has on my clients is what fuels my dedication and reinforces my love for what I do.
