I think its actions not words. And as a trial lawyer I think that jurors want to see the story. And so, what that means is we have to discover what the real story is and then, we have to put it into action in front of the jury either by way of demonstration or some video evidence or something that tells the story in a way that brings it to life. And what I try to do is I try to tell the story of change through action.
Los Angeles, CA personal injury attorney Thomas Johnston talks about how he likes to convince people while trying a case with stories. He explains that in my perspective, actions hold more weight than mere words. As a trial lawyer, I believe that jurors are seeking a compelling narrative. It is our responsibility to uncover the true essence of the story and effectively present it in front of the jury. This can be achieved through various means, such as engaging demonstrations, impactful video evidence, or any method that vividly brings the story to life. My goal is to convey the transformative nature of the narrative through action. By demonstrating the changes that have occurred, we can effectively communicate the depth and significance of the story. It is through this active storytelling approach that we can truly resonate with the jury and create a lasting impact.
