although an attorney has a huge role in

any divorce case the law firm also plays

an important role it’s important to

understand what resources The Firm has

in terms of staff and the number of

attorneys that they have available

it’s also important to understand what

the law firm’s expertise is if a law

firm does not have a specialty in family

law that can sometimes create issues for

a client divorce and family law cases

are unique

it’s important for an attorney to

understand who the judges are in their

Community as well as the other lawyers

one important feature is whether a law

firm has enough attorneys specializing

in family law and divorce for each

attorney to be able to bounce ideas off

their colleagues and speak to other

attorneys who have areas of expertise

that can help a client in a given case

in many firms one attorney may have a

focus on child custody cases while

another attorney might specialize in

complex financial matters clients want a

firm where attorneys can collaborate

share information and provide the best

services for a client using all the

resources available oftentimes the

debate comes down to whether a client

needs a large law firm with more

resources but also a higher cost and a

small Law Firm that may have less

resources

but can be more affordable at Lynch and

listen it’s essential to understand what

person and why they are seeing me that

day what are their needs what are their

expectations and what do they want me or

their attorney to do for them the only

way to provide strong client services to

listen to what the client says and to

provide realistic feedback on what the

attorney can and can’t do in their situation
