I started off – my first exposure to family law was actually in law school. It was my favorite class in law school, had a great professor. Then my first job out, I clerked for a district court judge in Hennepin County for a year and got to see things from that perspective, and then I moved in to the Minnesota Court of Appeals and handled a significant number of family law matters there working for an Appellate Court judge. When I joined Lommen I started working on family law matters almost right away. So, I’ve been practicing either full-time or part-time family law since 19 – I hesitate to say – 1987, approximately, would be my first exposure. So, I would say almost 30 years of exposure to family law.
