I got my bachelor’s in social studies education so I was social studies teacher, which has really worked out well for where we are now with family law because of my interest in behaviors and how people behave and how to motivate that behavior for good. And it was from that that I then decided to attend law school. I think I always knew I’d go to law school but I wasn’t quite sure how I would get there. And it was after teaching for three years I realized that that was the direction I wanted to go in. So now, I teach clients and juries instead of my high school seniors.
Dallas, TX Family Law Attorney, Barbara Cole, talks about her experience before law school and how it has helped her prepare for the lawyer she is today.
