so I decided to become a lawyer because
I always saw the practice of law as a
really cool opportunity to serve people
the practice of law gives me access to
tools and solutions that are available
to everybody all the time and it allows
me to help people solve problems that
they can’t solve themselves and I really
also appreciate the rewarding challenge
aspect of the law because I’m always
learning and growing as the law develops
and changes um I’m always um challenged
to learn more and
[Music]
grow so I find estate planning very um
rewarding in the sense that we get to
help clients navigate some really
difficult topics and some really
stressful things because when you’re
planning for an uncertain future and
you’re needing to Think Through you know
who’s going to be taking care of you if
you can’t take care of your and who’s
going to be managing money for your
children if you have young children it
can be really daunting to have those
things weigh on your mind and to have
uncertainty as to what that’s going to
look like but being able to navigate
with a client what their goals and
objectives are and what their concerns
are and their fears are and using all
that information to craft a plan that
they’re comfortable with and that they
can even be excited about that’s really
rewarding and my favorite part is when
we’ve had those difficult disc
discussions and the clients really
thought through what decisions they need
to make and they’ve made those decisions
and then it comes time for them to sign
their estate plan and you can just see
sometimes the weight lift off their
shoulders and it’s a really cool part of
the practice so I think that estate
planning especially is a very rewarding
area of the law
