you know it’s something that i just
always wanted to be and always wanted to
do and i don’t know why it’s probably
what appeals to me is a little bit of
the underdog mentality
and the aspect of helping somebody out
who’s in need
what guides my work is my is my client
and trying to help them out in the best
way possible at bottom
what criminal defense is is just helping
somebody who’s got a problem and whether
they did something or they didn’t do
something they’re being accused of
something pretty serious and the
consequences can be very severe and what
my job is is to help them with that is
to help make sure that they’re
represented properly that their rights
are upheld that they know what their
options are and that they make a
decision knowingly and intelligently in
terms of how their case is handled
the most rewarding aspect is to get a
satisfying result for a client and what
a satisfying result is going to be
different and it’s going to be based on
each particular client in each
particular case but it always feels good
to know that you that you did
what your client needed and you helped
your client out in the best way possible

sometimes it’s banging your head against
the wall but uh you try to keep a
professional relationship you try to
establish that relationship based on
your prior experiences with them or your
knowledge of the law
or just your professionalism whether you
get along with the prosecutor or not
you have to at least have a professional
relationship with them to help your
clients
