I think the key philosophy is that you
know when somebody turns to a lawyer
they’re they’re in a position in their
life that they’ve maybe never been in
before or even if they have it’s a very
scary moment in their life and they
really need someone Beyond somebody that
knows the law to help them navigate the
legal system they really need somebody
to understand what they’re going through
specifically the anxiety they’re going
through the fears they’re going through
and I believe that the way I was raised
and the reasons why I became a lawyer I
have a deep understanding of those fears
and anxieties and I really tailor my
practice and representation not only
around you know guiding the client
through the the legal process and
hopefully getting them to the desired
outcome and something that obviously
preserves their rights and their
freedoms but most overall throughout the
whole process that keeps them calm you
know and lets them understand that we
get it I get it that this is a scary
moment and I’m here and I understand
that 24 7 and I’m going to help you
through all the external stuff that
comes with being uh it comes with facing
a legal charge or a legal matter
anything
Paul a lawyer call me that is the number
one it may sound simple it may sound
repetitive it may sound like something
that you know you hear on the TV or
movies a lot but it’s the number one
most important rule to understand if
you’re facing any kind of legal matter
specifically a criminal matter to not
say anything period if you are seriously
under arrest or about to be arrested or
simply under investigation call a lawyer
first do not say anything besides I
think I need a lawyer or I want to speak
to a lawyer
Washington, D.C. criminal defense lawyer Nabeel Kibria shares the philosophy that guides his work as well as his one most common piece of advice to clients.
