Sacramento, CA family law attorney Mary Molinaro talks about her experience in handling collaborative law cases. They have been actively involved in collaborative law since the mid-1990s, prior to its widespread recognition. Initially, the speaker helped establish a group in Sacramento called the Collaborative Negotiation Group, which consists of lawyers dedicated to approaching family law with kindness, transparency, integrity, and openness. This group has since developed into a robust framework supported by statutory law, in which the speaker played a crucial role in both drafting and enacting legislation that legitimized collaborative law in California.
In addition to their legal practice, the speaker serves as the President of the Sacramento Collaborative Practice Group and is actively engaged with both the California-based Collaborative Practice Group and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). Their passion for collaborative law drives a continuous effort to improve the process for all parties involved, with the goal of making it more satisfactory and efficient for families.
