As we’re talking about, a trial is in some sense a morality play, and what you’re trying to do is you’re trying to make people understand the points that you’re making, understand your narrative, remember it, particularly in a long trial.
The jury’s gonna hear lots of points, and if a point is not presented with a certain amount of strength, and in some cases drama can strengthen a point, but you’ve gotta have enough strength to make it memorable. To make the jury or the judge remember that point, understand it, and put it in content. And sometimes a little drama can help you with that.
