I’ve handled a few in the last few years that I’m very proud of. I had, unfortunately, a man who died in a fire, and he was the father of three children, and he was in a rental unit that did not have proper working smoke alarms. And many other lawyers didn’t want to take this case. They thought it was too difficult. They didn’t want to put the money or time in, and I loved the family. I believed in the family, and I believed in the cause. And the end result was a verdict in excess of half a million dollars on behalf of the family. And I’m very proud of the time I put in.

Very similar to what my partner, Mr. Schmidt, has said, it’s not just the big cases. It’s the time that I put in helping people because the monetary value, even though it ranges from large to small, can make a significant difference in their life.
