So I’ve handled a substantial number of high net worth divorce cases and it’s important – I mean in some sense, those cases are no different than any case. We are trying to determine what the community estate is. We’re trying to value assets and then we’re trying to come up with a division that both parties can live with. Now it’s typically much more complicated the more assets they have. There’s more assets to pay attention to. Sometimes there’s more legwork that has to go on with understanding those assets and figuring out what they’re worth.
Sometimes you may have to get other professionals involved to try to help evaluate things. I mean you could have tax consequences more with people that have more assets. It just may be more important to really make sure you’re understanding everything. Not that it’s not important in any case, but the larger the estate, it just takes a little bit more time probably than it does in general. You have business interests typically. It can be associated with a large estate, a high net worth case.
