I think the most common misunderstanding is the thought that immigration law just involves filling out forms and that you don’t need an attorney to give you advice. When someone applies for an affirmative benefit, for example, there’s a lotta forms. What you put on those forms, how you fill out those forms, it’s very – it’s very important to know the individual circumstances of the individual client for the benefit. It’s too much of a myth to think that you can fill out a form and willy-nilly, that’s it. No. It’s much more complicated than that.
In terms of the removal side, I think that depending on the individual circumstances, the laws are really tough and really draconian in many respects. But I think if you have very good immigration counsel, there is a way to fight your deportation, for someone – we represent individuals who’ve been in the country for over 30 years, for example. And we’ve been able to keep them here lawfully in the country when it seemed like there was no – there was no way we were gonna be able to succeed that – in doing that. But we have done that successfully, so –
