So, respect effect is kind of one of our babies. We created a program. So, we have seven lawyers here, and five of us have tons of experience in employment-related things, and we have all done training. Many of us are round my vintage. I’m 28 years out. So, we sort of pack together our hundred years of training and wrote down over the course of 800 hours, literally, all the things we learned about the best ways to get folks to think about respect in the workplace in a way that enhances communication, in a way that avoids lawsuits, in a way that avoids discrimination and harassment.
Minneapolis and St. Cloud employment law attorney Sheila Engelmeier explains how the Respect Effect is something her firm spend 800 hours creating in order to teach people to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the workplace. She shared that the Respect Effect program is one of the firm’s signature initiatives, developed through the combined expertise of its employment law attorneys. She explained that seven lawyers work at the firm, five of whom have extensive experience in employment law and have conducted workplace training for many years. Drawing on their collective experience, the team collaborated to create a comprehensive program focused on promoting respect in the workplace.
She noted that the attorneys devoted approximately 800 hours to developing the program by compiling the lessons they had learned throughout more than a century of combined training experience. According to her, the program was designed to help organizations foster respect in ways that strengthen communication, reduce the risk of lawsuits, and prevent workplace discrimination and harassment.
