That’s a great question because Minnesota probably ranks in the top three as far as I’m concerned for leave laws and other employment protections. There’s California, which most employers wince at, then there’s New Jersey, and then there’s us. We did in our office a chart of break and leave laws in Minnesota and right now that chart is 11-pages long of all the leave laws that are out there, so employers face lots of potential pitfalls if they aren’t legally aware.
