Well, nursing home neglect is any time a person is not provided with the care that they’re supposed to get. Nursing homes receive money primarily from the taxpayers of the United States to take care of people under either Medicare or Medicaid dollars, and they get paid to do that. And then, if they take the money, don’t provide the care and leave people to fester and die, then that is neglect.
