Number one defense in drug case is what did the police perhaps do wrong? How did the police maybe violate somebody’s rights or violate the Constitution? And in that sense, we try to argue that the evidence should be suppressed. And if that doesn’t work, then oftentimes what comes up is the argument that the defendant did not intend to distribute, the defendant just intended to use the drugs.
