Most drug cases are driven by quantity. And so the highest level of state drug offense is a first degree. And without any criminal history points, that’s 86 months. So, if one is looking at a first degree drug offense in Minnesota, it’s usually over an ounce of either cocaine or some other hard substance like that, and 86 months is what you’re looking at, and then they go up exponentially from there.
