it was about over 10 years ago at a
former firm I was writing divorce
articles for a local newspaper weekly
and after a year 52 articles I had this
compilation of information that was
really helpful the kind of information
that I give to my clients all the time
and I thought you know I should really
put this together in a way that I can
give to my clients and so I created the
handbook at that time which is basically
short answers to concrete questions that
come up in divorce cases and so that I
can give it to clients it’s really not a
profit uh Venture because a lot of times
it’s hard to remember the details that I
share and so the handbook serves as a
little reference tool that my clients
can look back to or I also give them to
other professionals who have clients or
family or friends going through divorce
and it helps them so then every 2 years
I’ve updated it to maybe add new issues
and update for any Law changes so um
here we are and it’s fifth edition
Rockville, MD family law attorney Stuart Skok talks about the handbook she wrote for people going through the separation and divorce process.
