I hear this term a lot. Callers will call in and say, “I’m being reversely discriminated against.” I mostly hear it when it’s against what we’ve heard in society as discrimination for a long time. There is no such thing as reverse discrimination. Often times people would say, “There’s gender discrimination,” and it’s only female against male discrimination. And when someone calls and says, “I’m being reversely discriminated against,” they’re a male saying the females in the females in the workplace have ostracized me or failed to promote me. We also see it between races as well, and I’m seeing it a lot within sexual orientation discrimination cases as well, straight versus homosexual, or versus trans, or anything in that world.

San Francisco Employment Attorney, Traci Hinden, discusses women discriminating against men.
