Experience as a lawyer goes back to 1986. I took the Massachusetts Bar, Minnesota Bar concurrently so three days of testing. First job, special assistant attorney general with the revenue department in Boston until 1994. I joined the firm here that year. I started practicing with the world’s or maybe not the world’s, Minnesota’s greatest criminal defense attorney, Douglas Walser Thompson. The first case with him was State V. Maisy Meyers. And I think that was the attorney general that was representing the state. My first experience with Doug Thompson when he saw Bill, I think its Clump show up for the AG’s office he said to Bill, I didn’t know I was gonna win this one till I saw you here. And that was eight acquittals, saved her life. Then I’ve been practicing primarily criminal law defense with Mr. McClure since then. That’s it in a nutshell.
