no you should never allow the police to
search your vehicle you should be
cordial you should be cooperative in
terms of not being rude or not being
difficult with the police officers but
that is a question that goes to your
direct rights as a citizen whether you
allow the police to search your vehicle
and you have the absolute right to say
no if they need to search your vehicle
they will either get a warrant on the
spot or they will go back to a judge and
get a warrant based off of facts that
they have accumulated but on the spot
you have no obligation to allow the
police to search your vehicle and you
should always say no
Washington, D.C. criminal defense lawyer Nabeel Kibria explains when you should allow the police to search your vehicle.
