All clients like to have their attorney fees and costs reimbursed when they win, but the reality of business litigation is that most cases each party pays their own fees. And there are exceptions to that when there are statutes or contracts that provide for attorney’s fees to be awarded or that can be awarded then parties can recover fees. But most business litigation that I’m involved in do not have the fee shifting provisions.
