usually the most common instance is if

there’s an agreement by the parties that

a parent will accept perhaps a little

bit less than what the guidelines

um suggest is the appropriate child

support order the judge can take into

consideration other factors

um

as long as the as long as the court is

satisfied that the child’s best

interests are being met the court does

have the discretion to deviate from the

child support guidelines it’s considered

to be the presumptive is presumptively

correct but you know if there are

extenuating circumstances the court has

a discretion to deviate from that amount
