So the child support guidelines did give some guidance onto what’s gonna happen when a child enters college in terms of support orders, but it’s not black letter law, and so you still have to look at all the different factors. You still need to look at the party’s income, where the child’s gonna go to college, where they’re gonna be living, if they’re gonna be living with one parent or if they’re gonna be living on campus. And so going to college can certainly affect support orders, but it doesn’t necessarily have the same across the board effect on all of them.
