First of all, you have to prove that the other party was negligent or at fault that means you have to prove that they violated a standard of care. That could be something as simple as running a red light to something a little more complicated like failing to maintain a proper lookout. Then you have to prove that there was an injury and you have to prove then that the injury is directly related to the car crash.
