Whether or not spousal maintenance ends when you cohabitate with another person depends upon what the terms were in your particular divorce. If you remarry, spousal maintenance automatically ends, but cohabitation only ends spousal maintenance if that was a term that you agreed to in your original divorce decree or if it was imposed by a judge.
