I do half criminal defense and half civil rights litigation. In criminal defense that encompasses both state and federal court, trial and appeals. In civil rights litigation, that is anything from a police brutality matter, malicious prosecution, prisoner’s rights to assault in prison, medical rights in prison, and general First Amendment style cases where the police are involved in a First Amendment situation.
