Paul Dahlberg

Paul R. Dahlberg is a partner at Patterson Dahlberg, Injury Lawyers, where he exclusively handles personal injury claims on behalf of plaintiffs. With a strong dedication to serving the injured, he has successfully represented numerous individuals harmed or fatally injured due to the negligence of others. His practice encompasses a wide range of cases, including car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, dog bites, and products liability. Throughout his career, he has litigated and settled numerous cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and spinal cord injuries.

Paul Dahlberg has been instrumental in several notable cases, such as the bus crash near Austin, MN, the explosion caused by a gas leak in Dodge Center, MN, and a motorcycle crash resulting in a severe brain injury in Rochester, MN. He notably argued the landmark case of Montemayor v. Sebright in the Minnesota Supreme Court, securing a favorable outcome that stands as one of the most frequently cited cases supporting plaintiffs facing summary judgment. Additionally, he served as lead counsel in the Paxil litigation in Minnesota and represented multiple claimants in the Roundup cancer litigation. Paul takes pride in having assisted countless families during challenging times following serious accidents.

Prior to joining Patterson Dahlberg, Paul managed the Rochester office of Meshbesher & Spence for 15 years. In 2009, he made the transition to Patterson Dahlberg and partnered with Tom Patterson, who specializes in Workers’ Compensation claims. Together, they established Patterson Dahlberg, Injury Lawyers, a firm dedicated to representing injured individuals throughout Minnesota.

Paul Dahlberg’s commitment to advocacy extends beyond his legal practice. He has volunteered as an attorney for Trial Lawyers Care, an organization responsible for handling compensation claims for victims of the 9/11 disaster. Furthermore, he is an active member of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) and has served on the Board of Governors for a decade. With licenses to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin, he is actively involved in federal practice within Minnesota. He frequently speaks at seminars and continuing legal education events in both states, sharing his expertise on matters related to serious injuries and wrongful death cases in state and federal courts.

Recognized for his achievements, Paul Dahlberg has attained life membership in both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The Million Dollar Advocates Forum acknowledges attorneys who have secured million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards, and settlements. With approximately 3,000 members nationwide, the organization was established in 1993.

Paul obtained his law degree from the University of Minnesota School of Law. His practice remains focused on representing individuals who have suffered injuries in various accidents, including car and truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, farm accidents, and other incidents resulting in personal injury or wrongful death.
