Carly Sanchez, an attorney at Booth Law for over a decade, has developed a specialized skillset in handling complicated cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. She has particularly focused on representing survivors of sexual and physical abuse, with a specific emphasis on children in foster care or other dependency situations.
Carly graduated with honors from the University of Southern California in 2010 and worked at Booth Law as a law clerk for two years before attending Southwestern Law School’s SCALE program. During her time at law school, she gained practical courtroom experience as an extern at the L.A. County District Attorney’s office and graduated magna cum laude in 2014. After completing her legal education, Carly returned to Booth Law as an attorney and has since been an integral part of the firm’s success in securing substantial settlements in cases involving abuse, governmental torts, products liability, and police negligence.
In recognition of her legal skills and achievements, Carly has been named a “Super Lawyer’s Rising Star” every year since 2019, a distinction reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys practicing for less than a decade in Southern California. Carly is also an adjunct professor at Southwestern Law School, where she teaches an externship class to provide practical lawyering skills to law students.
Apart from her legal work, Carly has written and spoken extensively on the foster care system and governmental entities’ liability on behalf of minor dependents. She volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Los Angeles County and welcomes foster children into her home as a Resource Parent.
Carly resides in the South Bay with her family and enjoys spending her free time supporting USC football, reading, and exploring the Los Angeles area.
