Christopher L. Tritico, originally from Houston, Texas, obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Sam Houston State University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law.
As a licensed attorney, Mr. Tritico is authorized to practice law in the State of Texas, before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He holds memberships in several esteemed legal organizations, including the State Bar of Texas, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, The Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association (where he served as President in 2012), and The Houston Bar Association. Mr. Tritico has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including being recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer from 2003 to 2020 by Texas Monthly Magazine, one of the Top Lawyers for the People by H Texas Magazine from 2005 to 2020, and listed as one of Texas’ top-rated lawyers since 2012. Throughout his career, Mr. Tritico has dedicated himself to criminal defense law, handling cases in both state and federal courts, covering a wide range of areas from environmental law to capital murder. Notably, he has represented prominent athletes such as Moses Malone, former Houston Rocket, Gary Sheffield, All-Star third baseman for the Florida Marlins, and Julio Lugo, former Houston Astro. In 1997, Mr. Tritico was one of the trial lawyers representing Timothy McVeigh in the Oklahoma City Bombing. Apart from his criminal defense work, he has been actively involved in representing the interests of professional educators, serving as General Counsel for various organizations, including the Houston Federation of Teachers, Lone Star AFT, Cy Fair AFT, North East Houston AFT, Aldine AFT, and The Fort Bend American Federation of Teachers. His advocacy for teachers extends to both criminal district court and civil district court in Harris County, Texas, as well as Federal Court.
